Dr. Warheit is a native of Long Island. He graduated from the University of Vermont, and received his medical education at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, School of Medicine.

Andrew began his postgraduate medical education at Long Island Jewish/Hillside Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. His radiology residency was taken at Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he was named Chief Resident. Dr. Warheit completed his training with a full year fellowship in abdominal imaging and interventional radiology at Albany Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Warheit has been an attending radiologist at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, New York, since 1985. He is a founding Member of Albany Advanced Imaging, and serves on our interpretive staff.

Andrew is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America. He lives with his family in Slingerlands, New York. In his free time, Andrew enjoys golf, skiing, and mountain biking.
